Hull Glassed!

With some help from Ange, we finally got back to work and the hull is now glassed!
After reading the new CLC manual section about glassing the hull, I was intrigued to hear that the cloth could be stretched around the bow without cutting a slit for an overlap. This is, after all, how I glassed my Ches. 18. The information on how to do this was sketchy in the manual, so I headed to the CLC forum, and got some more info.
It"s pretty simple really: if you start at the bow, it is easy to get the glass to drape over the bow, and as the hull shape changes, you just slowly and carefully work the cloth with your hands, being careful not to make runs (a sanded hull helps a lot with this). It helps to work both sides of the boat at the same time (Thanks Ange!) and smooth all the wrinkles out.
At the stern, a cut will be needed (on this hull shape anyway) but one is better than two. Having the bow nice and smooth will make for less sanding trying to feather in the edge later on. I am going to add some more fabric (of what type I"m not yet decided) to the keel line, but I am not adding this yet.
Thanks to those who posted on the forum and thanks Ange for helping mix all that epoxy!

Thanks for Visiting!
