Order Management

Depending on what kind of business you run, you may need to process orders in a number of different ways. Waypoint Commerce offers the flexibility to handle orders the way you need to. When a new order is placed, a default status will be set. If you are shipping items out, you can update the status of the order as the order goes from pending, processing, shipped and complete statuses. Many different statuses are available, and comments can be applied each time the status is updated. For example, if an item is on back-order, you can specify as such and update the comments section with a note about when the item should be in. Customers checking their order status online can view the status of their order anytime. Automatic email updates can also be sent out. Each time the status changes, the time and comment are logged and can be viewed on the order screen any time.
